Speakers Instructions

30th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment November 10-14, 2004

The Speakers' Room (Waianae Room) Hours are: Sunday, November 9, 11 am to 10 pm Monday through Thursday, November 10-13, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Friday, November 14, 7:30 am to 12:00 noon.

All electronic presentations should be provided in MS PowerPoint.

Save your presentation in following format: Technical Session Number_Theme_Last Name. For example, TS6.3_TI_Smith. The following are the Theme designations:

TI: Technical & Infrastructure

GC: Global Change

HD: Hazards and Disasters

NR: Natural Resources.

Check in at Speakers' Room the day before your presentation. At this time:

a) Submit bio sheet
b) Provide contact information in case Session Chair needs to reach you.
c) Reserve time to practice your presentation in Speakers' Room.
d) Inform Speakers' Room Monitor of your audio/visual needs.
e) Scan electronic files for viruses the day before your presentation before it is uploaded onto laptop.

Check in with Session Chair at your designated meeting room 15 minutes prior to planned session time

Speakers are allowed 15 minutes for presentations. Session Chair will give 2-minute warning to wrap things up.
